Dovercourt Bay

This image was shot overlooking the old lighthouse in Dovercourt Bay. There are two of these lighthouses remaining and before gps etc, the pilots bringing vessels into Harwich and Felixstowe would navigate through the channel by lining up the two lighthouses.
In the distance, you can see the Walton peninsula.
